Questo attraverso un completo elenco dei documenti disponibili ed attraverso alcuni collaboratori tedeschi per una ricerca specifica.
Ora l’Associazione per ampliare questa fonte di
informazioni e documenti può disporre dell’Archivio Militare degli Stati
Uniti, NARA (National Archives Records Administration).
Questo servizio si baserà principalmente sui microfilms dei documenti
riguardanti le varie Forze Armate. Quindi per entrare in questa enorme banca
dati è necessario sapere dove cercare.
L’Associazione è riuscita a disporre dei microfilms con gli indici e le guide dei documenti:

Di fronte a questa grande opportunità per tutti gli interessati che, tengo a precisare, unica al mondo, l’Associazione chiede un sostegno a tutti coloro che credono a questa iniziativa.
I motivi di questa iniziativa sono molteplici: primo l’Associazione vuol dare a tutti la possibilità di un approccio diverso riguardo ai fatti d’armi avvenuti nella Storia in generale e, in modo approfondito, nel Secondo Conflitto Mondiale. Secondo accostarsi alle operazioni militari , dando ad ognuno la possibilità di avere una propria opinione su quanto accaduto. Tutto ciò può avvenire in maniera preferenziale e diretta solo attraverso una ricerca nei documenti originali delle Forze Armate coinvolte. Ogni libro di Storia Miliare, come diciamo ormai da anni, sente l’influenza di chi lo scrive, quindi della sua opinione e della sua limitatezza nella ricerca, perché nessuno ha la verità storica dei fatti “in tasca” o peggio il libro viene scritto per dare al lettore quello che desidera leggere, come una semplice cronaca dei fatti.
Per chi è interessato ad avere questi documenti ci contatti, anche perché abbiamo bisogno del tuo sostegno per gestire tale mole di documenti.
